Position: Project Manager

Summary

Woodson Engineering and Surveying is actively recruiting a full-time Project Manager to join our team in our Flagstaff office. This position will work as a member of our Engineering Department managing a wide variety of civil engineering projects.

Job Duties

  • Evaluate, select and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures and criteria on complex projects.
  • Design work using computer-aided software.
  • Make design recommendations, adaptations and modifications.
  • Assist senior level staff or management with clients and agencies, subcontractors, and design teams on complex project issues.
  • Review plans and prepare or review contract documents, technical specifications, and estimates.
  • Supervise development of construction plans.
  • Supervise projects while under construction.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Business development and client relationship skills
  • Strong understanding of financial management
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Must be self-motivated with an ability to balance multiple projects

Education and Experience

  • Professional Engineering (PE) License, preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Project Management
  • Experience in Arizona and/or Southwest US, preferred
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • BS in Civil Engineering
