We have recently received two new awards! We are honored to have our Grand Canyon Boulevard project for the City of Williams receive a APWA Project of the Year award! Check out our new video about the project! Also, Woodson has made the ENR 2020 list of Top Design Firms in the Southwest. It’s unusual for a small firm serving primarily rural areas and clients to make the list and we thank our many clients who helped make 2019 a strong year for the firm.
Woodson now has two drone operators! Both Chris Hull and Brian Mansker are now FAA-Certified Remote Pilots. They can operate Woodson’s drone for site reconnaissance, evaluation and photographic documentation and assessment.
Woodson is now using FLO-2D modeling software! FLOW-2D software is a powerful tool that can generate 2-dimensional dynamic flood routing models that simulate channel flow, unconfined overland flow, and street flow.
Our Apache Sewer Parallel project for the City of Winslow was featured in the January issue of ENR Southwest!

Woodson Celebrates 25th Anniversary! In 2019, Woodson Engineering and Surveying will celebrate its 25th year in business! We are planning a celebration party in June, 2019 and will announce the exact date in the near future. Mark Woodson recently reflected on our 25th Anniversary: “There are several things that I believe have been a big part of our success. First of all, I’d like to extend a huge ‘thank you’ to all of our clients over the years, and especially those who have entrusted us with their projects year after year. I also want to recognize our great staff that has consistently delivered quality products, resulting in many repeat clients. Finally, I thank my family for their support – it’s been a great 25 years and I look forward to many more.
