John Hall, PE, Senior Project Manager

John has over 30 years of diversified civil engineering consulting experience. He has been involved with the Engineering Management of design teams for site developments for public and private clients, including residential, commercial, industrial and public works projects. He is proficient in the management of technical personnel carrying out engineering design, scheduling, inspections, surveying and construction management. With a broad base of civil design knowledge and excellent communication skills, he has successfully managed a variety of design offices thereby gaining the versatility to achieve positive results on challenging assignments.

Project Experience
Page Unified School District – John is the Project Manager and Project Engineer for the design phases planning and design of street improvements for a new bus entrance/drop-off areas at Lakeview Elementary. 

Hope Street Improvements Project, City of Prescott – John is the Project Manager for the post-design services phases.  This project includes partial reconstruction and drainage improvements for the Hope Street / Warne Street residential loop connector roads.

Clay Avenue Design Project, City of Flagstaff – John is the Project Manager and Project Engineer for this roadway intersection improvement project including traffic calming facilities in the vicinity of the nearby elementary school.

Quiet Zone Improvements Project, City of Flagstaff – John is the Project Manager and Project Engineer for this project requiring improvement to existing at-grade railway crossings to effectively channelize vehicles and pedestrians.  The aim of the project is to provide safer conditions and seek eligibility for the disuse of wayside horns through a five-intersection zone. 

Sanborn Drive Mill and Resurface Project, City of Sedona – This roadway project involved an AC overlay using the FHWA Safety Edge technology and constructing roadside drainage ditch improvements as required throughout the project. Shoulder widening, and curb/gutter/sidewalk analysis was conducted as well.  The project is abutted by private lands through its length. John was Project Manager for the final wrap-up of the design contract for this project which was interfaced with cross drainage design and adjacent trail design by others.

Bonita Street, Town of Payson – As Project Manager, John is overseeing steps to develop an alignment, prepare design, and provide construction plans for a five-foot sidewalk against a curb and gutter, to a somewhat wider sidewalk/trail that will meander between the edge of pavement and the existing fence lines.
