Alicia Stoffers, PE – Senior Project Manager
Alicia has been working for Woodson since graduating from Northern Arizona University in 2002 with a degree in civil engineering and an emphasis in environmental engineering. She has been a key team member for our public works projects, including roadway/streetscape, water and sewer systems modeling and utilities, as well as land development projects. Her major responsibilities include street and utility design, government approvals, construction management, and system modeling and analysis. She is also the Auto-CAD supervisor.
Timber Sky Development, Flagstaff – Alicia has been our project Engineer and led the preparation of the feasibility study for a 200-acre site to investigate the existing utilities (water, sewer, power, cable), storm drain facilities, and perimeter streets, and then provided recommendations on potential upgrades required to accommodate the proposed improvements.
Water Master Plan, City of Williams – Alicia conducted the water modeling for the Williams Water Master Plan. She used WaterGems to simulate the water system under a variety of flow conditions and demand scenarios. She collected data on water production, water usage, fire hydrant flow tests, and system component elevations to input into the model for calibration and to closely simulate the system operation.
FR105 USFS Apache-Sitgreaves – Alicia has worked extensively on the construction documents for this redesign of Woods Canyon Road and parking area in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest. This is a complex project requiring adherence to Federal specifications standards for construction of roads. This is a heavily used recreation area and our design must add extra parking capacity while considering: trailers with boats; a boat ramp; RVs; and turn radius calculations.
Bonito Street Water and Sewer Improvement Project, City of Flagstaff – Alicia was the Project Engineer on this project that began as a sewer and water replacement project, but based on citizen input, grew to include sidewalks, drainage improvements due to flooding and runoff issues, and street restoration and widening.
