2015 Announcements

In our most recent contract with Northern Arizona Intergovernmental Public Transportation Authority (NAIPTA) we will be evaluating 47 bus stops for potential mobility improvements to meet U.S. Department of Transportation, Americans with Disability Act guidelines. Subsequently we will conduct all survey, design, and construction phase services for the needed improvements. NAIPTA is the transit agency in northern Arizona operating the Mountain Line, Mountain Lift and Mountain Link systems in Flagstaff, with 9 fixed routes with 164 bus stops.

The Flagstaff Chamber of Commerce ran a story on Mark Woodson in their November, 2015 issue: see pages 12-13.

We have been selected to provide On-Call Consulting Services to the Town of Camp Verde in the areas of Civil Engineering; Wastewater Treatment and Collection Systems; and Traffic Engineering! We look forward to working with the Town of Camp Verde, located in the Verde Valley, and assisting with their infrastructure needs!

We are looking forward to working on a new contract with the US Forest Service to redesign the Woods Canyon Road in the Apache-Sitgreaves NF. We will conduct a topographic survey to accommodate the redesign, as well as geotechnical work to develop a structural section for an all-weather asphalt surfaced road.

Woodson has been awarded a contract from the City of Prescott to design improvements to street and drainage infrastructure in several areas to mitigate the impacts of flooding and erosion.

It is an exciting time at Woodson: we have opened a new office location, increased our staff and have been designing some very interesting projects. You can catch up on these recent developments in our July, 2015 Newsletter.

Woodson Engineering & Surveying has made the list of Top Design Firms in the Southwest, by ENR Southwest’s annual ranking.

We are pleased to announce that Woodson Engineering and Surveying has opened a new office location in Prescott, AZ.
