Recent Project Experience
Renaissance V, City of Winslow - Robert was the lead designer on this street enhancement project. The Renaissance Projects are a series of improvements to the Downtown Area of Winslow to upgrade the facilities and encourage pedestrian traffic for local businesses. This phase included new street lights with underground service, new trees for shade and visual effect, upgraded pedestrian sidewalk ramps (ADA compliant), decorative pavers for appearance and fire hydrants for safety.

4th Street Pedestrian Crossings, City of Flagstaff - Robert designed the new and updated pedestrian crossings for this busy arterial street in East Flagstaff. The City had installed temporary crossings that required upgrading to meet standards. The design had to conform to existing conditions but also required planning for future improvements to meet other project demands.

Tusayan Sports Complex, Town of Tusayan - Robert led the design of this Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Project to enhance the accessibility and usability of the Town’s park on Long Jim Loop. New sidewalks and parking stalls were required to compliment the installation of a prefabricated restroom building on-site. Utility lines were also needed to connect the restroom for use. Robert also provided Construction Administration on this project.

Landscape Beautification, City of Flagstaff - Robert assisted in the design of this project that covered three locations within the City. The project consisted of landscape and drainage improvements to enhance the character and visual appeal of the City to citizens and visitors alike. Robert served as Construction Administrator on this project.

Lone Pine Dam, Navajo County - Robert prepared the roadway design, signing/pavement marking and temporary traffic control plans for this project. This project included the realignment of the roadway to a new bridge.

Eastern Street Study, City of Kingman  - Due to the closing of the existing at-grade Louise Avenue railroad crossing with the opening of the Airway Avenue grade separated railroad crossing, Robert performed travel time surveys for various routes to assist in the redistribution of traffic patterns.

SR51/SR101L Interchange, ADOT - Robert prepared the pavement marking plans. The project included the extension of SR51 from Bell Road to SR101L as well as construction of the interchange.

Phoenix Light Rail, Valley Metro - Robert performed the traffic control survey for the entire corridor of this ground breaking project. This included documenting intersection configurations, striping layouts and traffic control through plan markups, photos and video.

US 60 Intermediate TI Improvements (Mesa), ADOT - Robert prepared the roadway lighting design for the Dobson Road, Alma School Road, Country Club Drive, Mesa Drive, Stapley Drive, Gilbert Road, and Val Vista Drive interchanges along US 60. These interchanges required lighting modifications on the crossroads to accommodate roadway/bridge widening. The lighting design required coordination with SRP to verify the power requirements for the modified lighting design. The lighting design was to the City of Mesa requirements.
