Staff News

New Woodson Staff

We are pleased to announce that Michael Janes, PE, has joined our team as Senior Project Manager. Michael is a perfect fit for our firm and our diverse projects. He brings 13 years of civil engineering experience in transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure, storm drainage, and site design for a wide variety of clients. He has worked in northern Arizona for many years and graduated from NAU with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.

We are pleased to welcome Eva Rowe as our new Engineer In Training (EIT). Eva recently completed her B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Northern Arizona University and is actively involved with their research concerning adobe construction in Coconino County. Outside of work, she enjoys traditional rock climbing, running, and discussing the future of regenerative and sustainable design.

Sue Ohl To Retire

Sue Ohl has announced that she will be retiring at the end of July. Sue has been Woodson's Sr. Administrative Assistant for over 10 years and we will miss her dearly! We wish her many happy years in retirement traveling and sightseeing across the country.

Mark Woodson Completes Term as ASCE President

Mark Woodson has completed his term as the 2016 National President of the American Society of Civil Engineers and will continue in the upcoming year of 2017 as Past-President. With a lighter travel schedule he is looking forward to continuing his involvement at the local and state level, as well as continuing his commitment to preparing the next generation of engineering students for the work force. For example, he recently was a guest lecturer at Northern Arizona University's engineering program speaking about public policy and how it affects engineers
