James A. Folkers, RLS – Survey Manager

Jim has over 45 years of land surveying experience in northern Arizona. He has extensive experience in the fieldwork and preparation of final drawings of cadastral surveys, topographical surveys, and of final drawings and property descriptions of boundary surveys, parcel splits and easements. He has participated in or supervised a large number of design surveys.  He has performed numerous ALTA/ACSM Land title surveys and prepared numerous FEMA Elevation Certificates.  He is a property boundary specialist, and has served as an expert witness on a number of occasions, including for the Arizona State Attorney General’s office.  Jim served as the sole non-governmental surveyor in the United States to assist in preparing the examination for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management’s Certified Federal Surveyor program.

Kimley-Horn, Flagstaff Meadows - Detailed topographic survey.

Jacobs, Red Gap Ranch Waterline, Flagstaff, AZ - Photogrammetric control survey for mapping of 5,000-foot wide 38-mile long pipeline corridor.

HDR, Twin Arrows, AZ - Photogrammetric control survey, ALTA/ACSM Land Title Survey, and easement descriptions for new casino site.

City of Flagstaff - Numerous boundary, control and topographic surveys for various projects including Pulliam Airport Water Storage Tank, Flagstaff Urban Trail System, Reclaimed Water Line, Rio Homes, Sunnyside Improvements - Phase II, LiDAR mapping elevation evaluation, and Observatory Mesa ALTA/ASCM Land Title Survey.

Prescott National Forest - On-call surveying services contract for Prescott, Kaibab & Coconino National Forests. Tasks included a boundary survey involving 19 mining claims near Walker, Arizona.

Summit Fire Department - Townsite survey for purchase of townsite east of Flagstaff from U.S. Forest Service. Topographical survey for design of new fire station.

Merrill Crater Ranch, Twin Arrows, AZ - Boundary and construction surveys for ±2,400-acre development.

Wupatki Trails Subdivision, Flagstaff, AZ - 120 acre boundary survey, topographical survey, set property corners and prepared subdivision plat.
